A number of clients have recently received email notices from Domain Registry of America claiming that there is an outstanding transfer order for their domain name. The email goes on to state that the domain name is currently in a state of "registrar lock" or "client transfer prohibited "and they need to contact the domain registrar to have this removed so the domain name can be transferred to them.

Please Note: this is a scam and you should ignore all such requests unless you have initiated a transfer through us and we have notified you that such a transfer is underway. If in doubt please contact us for clarification.
